It runs on a 1.2L Revotron petrol engine (86–87 bhp, 113–115 Nm) paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Drive quality feels unrefined, especially in lower gears, with reports of stiff shifts and jerkiness. Some users faced unexpected charges during “free” service visits and unresolved gearbox/brake issues under warranty. Fuel economy varies—8–12 km/l in traffic, 14–16 km/l light city, and 18–22 km/l on highways.

Stylish, Spacious & Solid – A Perfect City SUV
I’ve been driving the Tata Punch Pure MT for the last 8 months, and honestly, it’s been a great companion for both city commutes and weekend getaways. The bold styling and high stance give it a mini SUV feel, and it definitely turns heads on the road. The interiors are spacious for a car this size, and the infotainment system is simple yet functional.Performance-wise, the Punch is smooth in traffic and handles well, even on slightly rough patches. It’s not built for speed, but it’s got enough punch (pun intended!) for daily use. Mileage has been decent—around 17 km/l in the city and a bit more on highways. Perfect city SUV with bold looks
I’ve been driving the Tata Punch Adventure MT for a couple of months, and it has impressed me in so many aspects. The look and styling are bold and contemporary, especially with the SUV look. It consoles with sturdiness and premium feel for its price segment. The performance, although not terribly quick, is smooth for city drives, and the high ground clearance also makes for a comfy drive on bad roads. The light steering and good visibility also make for a great driving experience. The build quality also makes me feel safe, which is a huge positive for me and my family. Mid-city mileage is about 17 -18 km/l, which is reasonable. So far servicing has been hassle free, and the Tata team has been quick to assist.
