Vehicle Buyer Voucher Program – Special Terms & Conditions

Effective: 28 October 2025

These Special Terms (“Program Terms”) govern your participation in HTDSL’s Vehicle Buyer Voucher Program (the “Program”). They supplement—and are incorporated into—the HTDSL Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy (together, “HTDSL Terms & Policies”). If there is a conflict, these Program Terms apply to the Program; the HTDSL Terms & Policies otherwise continue to govern your use of our Services.

1) Eligibility & Participation

  • Who can participate. Indian residents aged 18+ with legal capacity to contract may participate. Accounts must be created and used by a single natural person; credentials are individual and non-transferable.
  • One per person. Unless expressly permitted in writing, participation is limited to one (1) active Program enrollment and one (1) voucher per Eligible Purchase per individual.
  • Program scope. The Program is a customer incentive operated by HTDSL; HTDSL does not sell vehicles and is not a party to any vehicle sale.

2) Key Definitions

  • Program Fee: Fee collected at enrollment through our payment partners.
  • Eligible Vehicle / Eligible Purchase: A bona fide purchase by you of a new or used two-wheeler or four-wheeler in India from an authorized dealer or a verifiable seller, fully paid (not cancelled/returned), with documentary proof as per Clause 5.
  • Program Window: The time allowed to complete an Eligible Purchase after enrollment. If a specific window is stated on the offer page or in your confirmation email/SMS, that timeline prevails; otherwise, the default Program Window is 90 calendar days from the date of enrollment.
  • Voucher: A promotional Rs500 voucher (electronic code or similar instrument) issued after successful verification under Clause 5, subject to Clause 6.

3) How the Program Works (Summary)

  1. The User shall be required to enroll in the Program by paying a program fee (“Program Fee”) as communicated at the time of enrollment. The Program Fee amount is not fixed and may vary from time to time based on specific choice of vehicle. The applicable Program Fee shall be clearly communicated to the User prior to payment, and payment of such fee shall constitute the User’s acceptance of the corresponding terms.
  2. If you complete an Eligible Purchase within the Program Window, submit a claim with proof (Clause 5).
  3. Upon verification, HTDSL issues a Rs500 Voucher (Clause 6).
  4. No Purchase? If you do not complete an Eligible Purchase within the Program Window, you may request a refund of the Program Fee (Clause 7).
  5. Refunds are initiated by HTDSL on a best-efforts basis after eligibility checks; actual credit timelines depend on your bank/payment gateway.

(This summary is for convenience only. The binding terms are set out below.)

4) Program Fee; Payment Gateways; Taxes

  • Collection. The Program Fee is collected via third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay/PayU) or other processors.
  • Gateway charges & delays. Payment-gateway/issuer/bank charges, convenience fees, FX fees, or similar levies are set and collected by third parties. HTDSL is not responsible for such charges or for any delays, outages, or failures attributable to payment gateways, banks, networks, or telecoms.
  • Refund scope. Where a refund of the Program Fee is due under these Program Terms, HTDSL refunds only the Program Fee amount; gateway/issuer/bank charges are outside our control and may be non-refundable.
  • Taxes. Amounts may be inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as communicated at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes/charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.

5) Claiming the Voucher (Verification)

To receive the Rs500 Voucher, you must submit a claim within 15 calendar days of your Eligible Purchase (or within any specific claim timeline stated on the offer page/confirmation; that timeline will prevail) and provide:

  • Proof of Purchase: Tax invoice/receipt with dealer/seller details, date, vehicle make/model/VIN or frame/engine number, and buyer name.
  • Payment Proof: Evidence of payment completion (e.g., bank statement redacted to relevant entry, UPI confirmation, or finance disbursal letter).
  • Identity/Match: A valid government ID matching the HTDSL account holder and buyer on the invoice, or additional documentation reasonably requested to establish ownership and eligibility.
  • Other: Temporary/permanent registration (if available) and any additional information HTDSL may reasonably require to validate the claim and prevent fraud.

Verification. HTDSL may validate documents with dealers/sellers/financiers or through third-party verification tools. We may decline/seek clarifications if documents are incomplete, illegible, inconsistent, or suspected to be altered/fraudulent.

6) Voucher – Nature & Use

  • Form & delivery. The Voucher is typically delivered by email/SMS to your registered contact details after claim verification.
  • Not cash; restrictions. The Voucher is not cash or legal tender, non-transferable, and cannot be encashed or refunded. It may be single-use, subject to expiry, minimum purchase, channel restrictions, and other merchant/issuer terms stated on or with the Voucher.
  • Availability. Issuance is while supplies last. HTDSL may substitute an equivalent voucher or brand at its discretion if necessary.
  • Misuse. Lost, stolen, or misused vouchers will not be replaced. Any attempt to sell or barter a Voucher voids it.

7) “No-Purchase” Refund of Program Fee

  • Eligibility. If you do not complete an Eligible Purchase within the Program Window, you may request a refund of the Program Fee via the channel specified on the offer page/confirmation or via Support.
  • Best-efforts basis. Refund handling is on a best-efforts basis. HTDSL will initiate eligible refunds after validating your request and confirming that: (i) no Voucher has been issued against your enrollment; and (ii) no Eligible Purchase claim is pending or under review.
  • Timelines & responsibility. Post-initiation, the actual credit to your account depends on your bank/payment gateway/issuer, which are outside HTDSL’s control. HTDSL is not responsible for delays attributable to those third parties.
  • Scope of refund. Refunds cover only the Program Fee received by HTDSL. Payment-gateway/issuer/bank charges are not HTDSL’s responsibility and may not be refunded by those third parties.

8) Fair Use, Fraud Prevention & Consequences

  • You must not submit false, altered, or misleading documents; make duplicate claims; or use automation/bots/scrapers to access Program pages.
  • HTDSL may reject claims, withhold/void vouchers, deny refunds, and suspend/terminate accounts in cases of suspected abuse or breach. We may rely on technical/forensic tools and dealer confirmations.

9) What HTDSL Is (and Is Not) Responsible For

  • No sale/no advice. HTDSL does not sell vehicles, provide financing, or offer legal/financial advice. Vehicle price, availability, features, financing, delivery, and after-sales are exclusively the responsibility of the dealer/seller/financier.
  • Third-party terms. Your dealings with dealers, lenders, insurers, and voucher issuers are governed by their terms and privacy policies. HTDSL is not responsible for third-party offers, actions, delays, errors, or service levels.
  • Service basis. The Program and our Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or completeness/accuracy of information.

10) Content, Reviews & Photos You Submit

If you share reviews, photos, or purchase details as part of your claim or feedback, you represent you own/have rights to such content and it is lawful and non-infringing. You grant HTDSL a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display such content (including edited or anonymized excerpts) across our Services and channels, consistent with the UGC provisions in the HTDSL Terms of Use.

11) Privacy & Communications

We handle your data under the HTDSL Privacy Policy. By participating, you consent to HTDSL using and sharing your information with verification partners and communication vendors strictly to operate the Program (e.g., document checks with dealers/sellers/financiers; voucher delivery; support). We may contact you via email/SMS/phone/WhatsApp regarding your enrollment, verification, refund status, or similar operational matters.

12) Changes, Suspension & Termination

HTDSL may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program or these Program Terms (prospectively) for business, legal, or operational reasons by updating this page and, where required by law, providing additional notice. If the Program ends, unverified claims and unused vouchers may lapse subject to applicable law. Breach of these Program Terms or the HTDSL Terms of Use may result in suspension/termination of participation.

13) Liability, Indemnity & Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HTDSL (and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents) will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, or reputation.
