Launched in 2006, Bajaj Platina has always been consistent with its target audience's demands for a simple-looking, solid and high-on-mileage motorcycle. While the KS model (kick start) was launched in 2021, Bajaj brought Platina 100 ES (electric start) variant in 2021. The Bajaj Platina 100 ES drum is perhaps the most affordable bike with an electric start across India. 
 

 Bajaj Platina 100 Price: 
 
Platina 100 comes in three variants: Bajaj Platina 100 KS, Bajaj Platina 100 ES Drum, and Bajaj Platina 100 ES Disc. The basic variant costs Rs 52,915 (ex-showroom), while the premium Platina 100 Es Disc is available at Rs 63,578. 
 

 Bajaj Platina 100 Features: 
 
The basic look of Platina 100 remains the same, but there are some major changes that have been done to add value to the vehicle. From the front, the vehicle looks bigger and heavier. It comprises Halogen headlamps, but the company has updated it with LED DRL. The instrument cluster is kept analogue to make the vehicle low on price. Some of the features include, Directional Tyres, Nitrox Suspension, Fuel Gauge and Pass Light. It is available in of these colours: Black Silver, Cocktail Wine Red, and Ebony Black with silver accents. 
 

 Bajaj Platina 100 Performance: 
 
The BS-VI compliant 102 cc SOHC air-cooled engine with 4-speed constant mesh gearbox develops a maximum power of 7.77 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 8.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The stated mileage ranges from 75 to 90 km/l, with a peak speed of 90 km/h. The suspension comes with advanced Comfortec technology. A combined braking system (CBS) connects the front and rear brakes. The suspension is of a single-cradle frame with a telescopic fork in the front. The rear suspension has been updated to Spring-N-Spring instead of the earlier nitrox shock absorbers.
