BAJAJ Pulsar 150

The 2026 next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 150 has just been launched in India (August 2026), receiving its biggest structural and technological overhaul in years. It moves to an entirely new chassis, features a monoshock rear suspension, premium displays, and introduces segment-first ride modes.

Engine & Performance

• Engine: Updated 149.5cc, single-cylinder engine
• Max Power: 14 PS (14 bhp) @ 8,000 rpm (power is now accessed earlier in the rev range)
• Max Torque: 14.1 Nm @ 6,500 rpm (a bump up from the outgoing 13.25 Nm)
• Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox with revised calibration
• Ride Modes: First in the 150cc segment to feature three selectable riding modes—Road, Rain, and Sport

Chassis & Suspension

• Frame: All-new diamond-type frame (replacing the traditional double-cradle frame, with the engine now doubling as a stressed member for better stability)
• Front Suspension: Beefier 33mm telescopic fork with 125mm travel
• Rear Suspension: New monoshock setup with 110mm travel (replacing the old twin shock absorbers)
• Brakes: 260mm front disc; Rear gets a 130mm drum (SD) or 230mm disc (TD), backed by Single-Channel ABS

Design & Technology

• Instrument Cluster: 4.8-inch LCD on the base model, or a 5-inch full-colour TFT display on the higher trims
• Connectivity (TFT models): Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, turn-by-turn Google Maps navigation, screen mirroring, and call/message alerts
• Lighting: Class-B LED headlamp with signature pilot lamps, redesigned crystal LED tail-lamps, and LED turn indicators (replacing bulb-type blinkers)
• Convenience: USB Type-C charging port, hazard lights, belly pan, double horn, and an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) on the Twin Disc variants for silent starts
