KTM 390 Adventure spotted with new dual-tone colour scheme, could launch soon

KTM could soon introduce a new colour option for the 390 Adventure in India. The adventure motorcycle has been spotted at a dealer yard wearing a fresh dual-tone paint scheme and revised graphics, suggesting that the new version could be available for bookings soon.

The motorcycle gets a distinctive white and orange colour combination. The front fairing and the beak are finished in white, while the tail section gets an orange finish. This gives the 390 Adventure a noticeably different visual identity from the colour options currently available with the motorcycle.

Another major change comes in the form of the graphics. The spotted motorcycle features significantly larger graphics than those seen on the existing colour options of the KTM 390 Adventure. The bold KTM and Adventure 390 branding makes the new paint scheme look more prominent and could help distinguish it from the current versions.

Reports suggest that the motorcycle has already reached a dealer yard, which indicates that KTM could officially introduce the new colour option in the near future. Bookings for the new colour scheme are expected to open soon.

No major mechanical changes expected

The new colour option is expected to remain mechanically unchanged. The KTM 390 Adventure currently uses a 349.32 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 41.5 PS and 33.5 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

The adventure motorcycle also continues with its existing chassis and electronics package, including a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup, TFT instrument cluster, cruise control and electronic rider aids.

The 390 Adventure was updated earlier with a smaller 349 cc engine as KTM revised its product range in response to India's GST structure. The updated engine replaced the earlier 399 cc unit while retaining the performance-focused character that the 390 range is known for.

The new dual-tone colour scheme could be another attempt by KTM to keep the 390 Adventure range fresh without making changes to its mechanical package.
