- A 4.2-inch colour instrument cluster and semi-leatherette seats with white stitching are now available on the Sonet.
- Side airbags, Highline TPMS, and a rear seatback folding knob have been added to the list of standard features.
- Curtain airbags, ESC, VSM, BA, and HAC are also available on certain Sonet models.
- The Kia Sonet is powered by three engines: a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with a five-speed manual transmission that produces 81bhp/115Nm, and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with either a six-speed iMT or seven-speed DCT automatic gearbox that produces 117bhp/172 Nm.
- A 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with 112bhp and 250 Nm is also available, mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
- The Kia Sonet has a seating capacity of 5 persons.
