Price check: Maruti Suzuki offers discounts on Arena cars

NEW DELHI : Maruti Suzuki had much to cheer about in the festive month of October with sales figures looking up after months of dismal performances. In what could be a bid to keep the momentum going, the company is reportedly offering discounts on some of its most popular cars for the month of November.
The discounts being offered are on most of the Arena cars - Alto, Dzire, Swift and Wagon R.
It has been learnt that the company is offering savings of up to ₹60,000 on the BS6-complaint Alto. While the savings are on the new version of the car, it also applies to some of the leftover stocks of the pre-facelift version.

The Dzire too can be bought with savings of up to ₹55,000. The sedan has been a power performer for the company and has repeatedly been the best-selling vehicle across categories since its third generation was launched back in 2017. Since, it has had to fend off some challenge from the likes of the facelifted Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor and VW Ameo but has managed to maintain its lead. Hyundai is now planning to bring in the next-generation Xcent - called Aura - which could pose a challenge for Dzire.
Much like the Dzire, the Swift too has helped Maruti Suzuki pack a punch in sales figures. The car was upgraded earlier in 2019 and performed reasonably well. The Swift can now be had with savings of up to ₹50,000.
Maruti Suzuki is also offering savings of up to ₹30,000 on the Wagon R. The updated version of the car was launched earlier in 2019 and now is also available with an AMT option.
