25 was first introduced to India in July, 2020.

Yamaha FZS 25 Design:
Although the FZS 25 retains all of the features included in the FZ 25, they both differ slightly. Yamaha has crowned the FZS 25 with an extended front visor. Brush guards on the handles ensure the rider’s hands are safe from potential projectiles on the roads or branches of plants while offroading. The muscular tank, under cowl and side cowls further adds to the aggressive design. A distinct muffler cover also stands out. This bike comes in two matte finished colours: Matte Copper and Matte Black. Both have contrasting sticker jobs to match.
Yamaha FZS 25 Dimension:
Despite the bulky looks, the bike weighs only 154 kilograms, just one kilogram more than the FZ 25. Apart from cutting through traffic like a pro, the FZS 25 is also friendly to taller as well as shorter riders. The seat height of 795mm suits a variety of riders.

Yamaha has given the FZS 25 with intelligent systems to go along with the power. The bike features an all-LED configuration including the taillight. The boomerang shaped LED DRL is bright enough to cut through fog, Yamaha claims. High beam and low beam come in one integrated unit under the Class D Bi-Functional headlamp. A multi-function negative LCD instrument cluster allows clear reading under almost any condition. Apart from these, side-stand engine cut-off switch and dual-channel ABS are built in as safety features. A USB charging port comes as an accessory.

The mill of the FZS 25 is shared with that of the FZ 25. The 249cc single-cylinder is fuel injected to get 20.8 PS at 8,000 RPM and 20.1 Nm torque at 6,000 RPM. This engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission.

The FZS 25 returns decent mileage for its class. With a fuel tank of 14 litres, this bike gives a mileage ranging from 43 to 47 kilometers a litre.
