Nice car of the Mahindra

It looks very nice and becomes even more beautiful when modified. This car is great for traveling in mountainous and hilly areas, and its power is top-notch.

Smooth City Automatic

My Petrol AT is surprisingly smooth for daily city driving. The automatic gearbox is responsive. I thought the size would be an issue but it's manageable. I get lots of attention. The seats are very supportive.

Highly Recommended for Enthusiasts

If you are an enthusiast, go for it. If you want a mileage machine, look elsewhere. Diesel manual gives me 13.5 kmpl on average. The feature list is adequate, not overly complex, which is good for an off-roader.

Great value for the sheer presence and capability you get. No other car comes close at this price point. The Thar holds its value well, which is great for ownership cost. Excellent on the ghat roads near my home.

Impressive Engine Refinement

The engine refinement, especially the mHawk diesel, is a significant improvement over the older model. Very low NVH levels inside the cabin for an off-roader. It's a comfortable experience on the highway up to 100 kmph.

A True VFM Off-roader

For the price, the off-road hardware is incredible. The shift-on-the-fly 4x4 system is a breeze to use. Maintenance cost is low, which is a major plus. Gets around 12-13 kmpl with the diesel manual.

Best Decision Ever!

After a lot of research, I picked the Thar, and I'm so happy. The build is very tough. The high driving position makes me feel safe. I love the simple, rugged interior design. A truly remarkable car.

Unstoppable & Unapologetic

This is not a soft-roader, it's the real deal. It’s got that raw, adventurous character. The design is just stellar. Mahindra has done a great job on the engine's refinement. Is the Thar safe? Yes, 4-star GNCAP rating is good for an off-roader.

It's an Experience, not just a Car

The Thar is all about the experience. It feels like an event every time I get behind the wheel. The 4x4 capability is confidence-inspiring. The only drawback is the small rear visibility. The reverse camera helps a lot.
