Toyota to unveil its new sports car GR Yaris in January next year
Toyota will take the covers off of its new sports car GR Yaris at a world premiere during Tokyo Auto Salon early next year. The event will be held from January 10 to 12 in Makuhari Messe, near Tokyo Japan.
This is the second model launched globally under the Gazoo Racing (GR) brand - housing Toyota’s racing sports car lineup.
Toyota's president performed the final test of the car, pushing it to its furthermost limits. GR Yaris, camouflaged in the signature red-black-and-white TGR colors, is code-named GR-4.

Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) claims that the new sports car incorporates all the technologies, knowledge, and experience learned from the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).
Ahead of the world premiere at Tokyo Auto Salon, the car will make its first official dynamic appearance at the Japan Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival 2019 on December 15.
So far, Toyota has not released any technical information about the GR Yaris.
