NEW DELHI :

Looking to position Kicks SUV as an attractive proposition in India, Nissan recently announced an anytime, anywhere test drive for the car to help prospective buyers make an informed decision as per their convenience.

Nissan says that the initiative will enable customers to schedule their test drive online as per their convenient time and location. In the first phase, the company says, the facility is available only in Delhi NCR and Mumbai. "Nissan is committed to offer innovative and exceptional sales and after sales services to its customers," said Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan India. "This is yet another unique step from Nissan to make car buying more convenient by giving them the first experience of Nissan Kicks at their doorstep."

Prospective customers looking to test the Kicks will have to log on to the official Nissan India website and provide a preferred time and venue to schedule the test drive. The test drive can be scheduled between 9am to 7pm on of any of the seven days of the week.

To provide this service, Nissan has partnered with Orix, a strong player in innovative leasing and transportation solutions.

Kicks was brought to India in January of 2019 but has failed to find much favour, especially due to strong competition in its segment. Available in four diesel variants, XE, XL, XV and XV Premium, and two petrol versions - XL and XV, Kicks competes with cars ranging from Creta from Hyundai to Seltos from Kia and even MG Hector.
