BMW iX1 News

BMW's lineup at Bharat Mobility Expo consists only of electric vehicles.
The new generation BMW iX1 will be based on Neue Klasse architecture and is expected to launch sometime around 2027 or 2028.
A total of 15 luxury SUVs were launched in India in 2023 by different brands, including six pure electric models.
From mass-market to luxury, the year 2023 witnessed launch of several electric cars across price-segments, with SUVs dominating the chart.
BMW is slated to showcase the new iX2 electric compact crossover coupe at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo on October 25.
BMW has launched the iX1 electric SUV in India at a price of <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>66.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The iX1 joins BMW's EV fleet which also includes the iX SUV, i4 and i7 sedans.
BMW iX1's deliveries across India will begin in October 2023.
BMW iX1 is the electric version of the German carmaker's entry-level X1 SUV. It will be the fourth electric offering from BMW in India after the iX, i7 and i4.

BMW iX2 will be built in Germany alongside the iX1 and share the same powertrain as well.
