Indian auto giant Bajaj added Pulsar 125 Neon in the much-reputed Pulsar family in August 2019. Reminiscent of the typical Pulsar-look, 125 Neon presents a good option to the budget buyers.

The bike is available in four variants, Drum, Split Seat Drum, Disc and Split Seat Disc. The basic Drum variant costs around Rs 81,000 (ex-showroom), while the top Split Seat Disc is available at a price of Rs 87,000-88,000. 

 

 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon Features: 

 
As mentioned before, Pulsar 125 Neon looks very similar to how it used to look in late 2000s. The looks are borrowed from the stronger kin Pulsar 150. The bike looks heavier than its rivals in the segment. Notably Notably, there are hardly any new feature to talk about to entice customers. The semi-digital instrument cluster appears dated with limited information, for instance, two trip meters, an odometer. The bike has a sel-start, but provides the option of a kick too. The bike has a five-speed manual transmission. The rear suspension comes with Twin Gas Shock, while the frontal suspension is Telescopic. The top speed is around 105 kmph, but one can feel some vibrations after crossing 100 kmph-mark. The mileage is of 51-57 kmpl.

Hero Super Splendor 
 
The Super Splendor is a higher-end variant of the Splendor with a bigger displacement. Instead of the traditional 100cc and 110cc engines seen in its younger siblings, Hero MotoCorp has equipped it with a 125cc engine. It's noted for its toughness, dependability, and fuel economy. BS VI Super Splendor Self Start Drum Brake Alloy Wheel and BS VI Super Splendor Self Start Disc Brake Alloy Wheel are the two variants the motorbike is available in. In the new Super Splendor, the headlight cowl has the same shape as before, but the flyscreen is a little more sporty. The utility box under the gasoline tank has been reduced in size, and the side panels have been enhanced with silver highlights that conceal the carburettor. The grab rail is blended with the tail-section of the bodywork at the back and the bodywork graphics are also new. The instrument cluster is a three-pod unit with the neutral, side-stand indicator, and high-beam warning light on the left-most pod. The fuel gauge is in the right pod, while the speedometer and odometer are in the centre pod. The Super Splendor has a length of 2,042mm, a width of 740mm, and a height of 1,102mm. The wheelbase is 1,273mm long, and the ground clearance is 180mm. The motorcycle's fuel tank holds 12 litres of gasoline and the bike's kerb weight is 122kg. 
 

 Riding ergonomics: 
 

The Hero Super Splendor is equipped with telescopic front suspension and hydraulic shock rear suspension. The bike's seat was also lengthened by 45 mm to allow clients to rest and relax while riding. The ride quality is stiffer than on the previous-generation bike and at low speeds, the chassis provides for agile handling. 
 

 Engine and Power: 
 

The Super Splendor is powered by a fuel-injected 125cc engine that develops 10.73bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. This engine was paired to a four-speed gearbox until Hero modified the bike to meet BS6 standards and included a five-speed gearbox.

The new Hero Super Splendor features an Integrated Braking System with a 240 mm Front Disc Brake and a combined braking system for both wheels. The bike also has an Always Headlamp On (AHO) feature for enhanced safety, which improves visibility even during the day.

The MT-15 is a little motorcycle, with its look unchanged from before, emulating Yamaha's larger MT-09 and MT-10 naked bikes. The alien-like appearance attracts a lot of attention. The Splendor Plus provides a luxurious ride that glides effortlessly even over speed bumps and rugged terrain. The motorcycle is equipped with large 18-inch tubeless tyres. Both of the Hero Splendor Plus BS6's tyres are 80/100 section 18-inch units with the identical dimensions. 
 

 Engine and Power: 
 

The Splendor Plus's 100cc carbureted engine has been modified with Hero's 'XSens technology' fuel-injection system. At 8,000 rpm, the engine now produces 7.91bhp and 8.05Nm, while at 6,000 rpm, it produces 8.05Nm. This is a 1.3bhp loss, with torque staying unchanged but reaching 1000rpm later. The engine is still paired with a four-speed transmission. 
 

 Safety Features:

A 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine powers the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. At 9,750 rpm, it generates 24.5PS and 18.5Nm torque at 8,000 rpm. The BS6 200 NS generates 1PS and 0.2Nm greater than the BS4 variant. Its engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.As far as suspension is concerned, it has telescopic front forks and the rear portion has preload adjustable monoshock. The bike can clock the top speed of 120-125 kmph. 

 

 Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 Capacity: 

 

The bike weighs 159.5 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and the company claims mileage of 40.84 kmpl in cities. But, many owners claim a mileage of 35 kmpl.

Suzuki SV650 
 

When it comes to street bikes, the 650cc class is what most prefer. The Suzuki SV650 is a capable machine with the right features to make it one of the best street bikes ever. 
Since its release in 1999, it has been one of the leaders in the street bike segment in major countries across the world.

 Suzuki SV650 Design: 

 

This street bike is well balanced despite most of the mass being put to the front end. The SV650 is built around an exposed frame giving it a fearless stance. 
Although it has retained most of its design cues since 1999, the newest model has a few extra defining lines on the tank and headlight crown. An upswept exhaust does most of the talking in the rear. 
The SV650 is expected to be launched in Metallic Matte Black paint scheme. The tank is painted matte black, the rest of the body in metallic black while the frame and rims are painted dark blue. The three tone paint scheme makes it stand out of the crowd. 
The earlier models however came in Metallic Silver, Glass Sparkle Black as well as Metallic Matte Black. 
 
 Suzuki SV650 Dimension: 

 

The dimensions and design of the SV650 has adequately matched the middle-weight street-bike segment. It is just 2.5 feet in width and 7 feet in length. 
An absence of a bash-plate on an already exposed engine, makes the engine and silencer bend-pipe even further. With a ground clearance of 135mm however, the SV640 should be able to negotiate through the streets well enough. 
The bike weighs 198 kilograms which is slightly lower than many Royal Enfield models. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Features:

Better engine management is given to the SV650 through its Engine Control Module (ECM). This system enhances the engine settings to provide better linear throttle response. 
The gear ratio is lower on this street bike to give better pickup.
