The Hero Super Splendor is a 125 cc commuter motorcycle positioned above the standard Splendor in Hero MotoCorp’s lineup. Designed for riders seeking greater performance without compromising on efficiency, the motorcycle builds on the reliability and success of the Splendor brand. With a refined engine, practical features, and upgraded mechanicals, the Super Splendor is aimed at daily users in urban and semi-urban markets. The 2025 model continues to offer strong value in its segment with two variants and five colour choices.
The Hero Super Splendor price starts at ₹80,848 (ex-showroom), and it is offered in two variants. The drum brake version is priced at ₹80,848 (ex-showroom), while the front disc variant is available at ₹84,748 (ex-showroom).
The Super Splendor was originally launched in India several years ago as a higher-displacement alternative to the standard Splendor. A major update came on February 27, 2020, when the model was upgraded to BS6 norms. This update also brought a new five-speed gearbox, revised styling, and improved cycle parts, enhancing both efficiency and everyday usability.
The motorcycle is available in two variants: one equipped with 130 mm drum brakes at both ends and the other featuring a 240 mm front disc brake. Both variants come with electric start as standard. Colour options include Black-Sports Red, Black with Accent, Black-Silver STR, Candy Blazing Red, and Metallic Nexus Blue.
The bike offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 60 kmpl. Actual fuel efficiency will vary based on riding conditions and user habits, but the model is known for its frugal fuel consumption, making it a suitable choice for daily commuting.
Powering the Super Splendor is a 124.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers 10.73 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox that improves highway efficiency and gear versatility.
The chassis is a diamond-type frame designed for better stability. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch wheels and includes a combined braking system (CBS) for safer braking. The disc variant offers enhanced stopping power with a 240 mm front disc.
Feature-wise, the Super Splendor includes a digi-analog instrument cluster with real-time mileage indication, trip meter, and fuel level readout. It also offers a USB charging port and a side-stand engine cut-off feature for added convenience and safety. Styling updates include a redesigned headlamp cowl, updated fuel tank, new body graphics, and refreshed tail panels.
As of July 2025, there are no nationwide promotional offers on the Hero Super Splendor. However, dealership-level schemes may be available depending on location. Customers are advised to visit nearby Hero MotoCorp showrooms to inquire about ongoing finance options, exchange bonuses, or festive discounts.
The Hero Super Splendor competes in the 125 cc commuter motorcycle segment, going up against rivals such as the Honda Shine, Bajaj Discover 125, and TVS Radeon.
