VLF Tennis 1500: Overview
The VLF Tennis 1500 is a premium electric scooter designed for urban mobility, positioned as the flagship offering from Velocifero in India. Developed by Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini, the Tennis 1500 is aimed at Gen Z and young commuters with its European styling, lightweight frame, and smart features. The model was first introduced in late 2024 and received a 2025 update in July, enhancing its range and features while maintaining its competitive price.

The 2025 VLF Tennis 1500 is priced at ₹1,29,999 (ex-showroom). The price remains unchanged from the earlier version, despite the scooter receiving significant upgrades in battery tech, range, and features.
VLF Tennis 1500: Launch Date
The first version of the VLF Tennis 1500 was launched in India on November 19, 2024. The upgraded 2025 version went on sale from July 23, 2025, with improved specifications and new colours.

The VLF Tennis 1500 is offered in a single variant. For 2025, the scooter is available in four colour options: the newly introduced Slate Blue and Ebony Black, along with existing shades Fire Fury Dark Red and Snowflake White.
VLF Tennis 1500: Range & Battery
The updated VLF Tennis 1500 now offers a 150 km range under the Indian Driving Cycle (IDC), up from the 130 km claimed on the earlier version. This improvement is supported by the inclusion of a new LMFP (Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate) battery with an aluminium casing, enhancing thermal resistance and safety. The battery is removable and compatible with standard charging infrastructure. The scooter features three riding modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—tailored to different performance needs.

The VLF Tennis 1500 is equipped with a 5-inch full-colour TFT display, keyless start, a USB mobile charging port, and full LED lighting. It comes with a side-stand cut-off function for added safety. The under-seat storage capacity is rated at 18 litres, offering enough room for a small backpack or helmet.
It is built on a high-tensile tubular steel frame and rides on 12-inch wheels. Suspension is managed by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock with a progressive cantilever setup. The braking system comprises front and rear disc brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System) for controlled stopping. The scooter’s lightweight build and compact proportions make it easy to handle in congested city environments.
