Maruti Suzuki grabbed plenty of eyeballs right at the start of Auto Expo 2020 when the company showcased the Concept Furutro-e, its bold move towards electric mobility with a new design language. In keeping up with its stylish concept looks, Yokohama provided concept tires designed exclusively for the car showcased at India's mega motor show.
On Monday, Yokohama said that the tire had been designed keeping in mind the ultra stylish visual appeal of Concept Fututro-e which is a fusion of coupe and SUV styles. As such, the four tyres supporting the car were provided with rib grooves to accentuate the profile of the vehicle and ensure more stylish and smooth running vehicles.
It is a design language Yokohama says will also suit a wide range of urban SUVs in the market.
Yokohama India, set up in 2007, began local production in 2014 and currently supplies its products to domestically made passenger cars and SUVs in the replacement market as well as original equipment to various automobile makers in the country.
