Suzuki Jimny is now officially a police car in Italy.
The Italian military police unit, known as the Carabinieri, has been delivered 10 units of Suzuki Jimny.
The popular off-roader is the latest addition to the force, along with 55 Suzuki Ignis cars as well.
Jimny has replaced some powerful cars like Alfa Giulia QV or the Lotus Evora S to give an edge to the force while chasing down criminals through narrow roads and uphill drives.

The fourth-generation off-roader is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine.
This engine produces a maximum power of 102 PS (101 bhp - 75 kW) at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 130 Nm (95 lb.ft) at 4000 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the all wheel drive (AWD) with a 5 speed Manual gearbox.
