Kawasaki introduced the KX 450F version to India in October 2017. The 2022 version of the KX 450 was launched in December 2021.

Kawasaki KX 450 Design:
This motocrosser is built on an ergonomic design to help riders adjust themselves according to the need. A long and narrow seat is placed at the height of the tank. A thick handlebar included in this bike reduces the vibrations felt by the rider. The lightweight aluminium perimeter frame is exposed on the sides, making it an important part of the design. The Kawasaki KX 450 comes in Lime Green colour with hints of black.

The seat is placed at a height of 955 mm (3.1 feet) and the ground clearance is 340 mm (1.1 feet). A USD fork suspension in the front has a travel of 305 mm and a monoshock in the rear has a travel of 307 mm. A hydraulic clutch gives this machine excellent track performance since the clutch gets a lighter and consistent feel throughout the ride. Braking is assisted by a single semi-floating 270 mm petal disk with dual piston calliper on the front and a single 250 mm petal disk with single piston calliper in the rear.

The 449cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine on the KX 450 churns out 53 horsepower and 44.7 Nm torque. This mill is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
