Honda introduces industry first 'Anytime Warranty' for up to 10 years
- Honda says the program gives a coverage of one year/20,000 kilometers.
NEW DELHI : Building on its 'Anytime Warranty' program for up to seven years, Honda on Wednesday announced an extension to it to up to an industry first 10 years.
First introduced back in 2014, Honda's Anytime Warranty has now been extended to 10 years and will ensure that any faulty part is repaired or replaced free of cost (subject to terms and conditions). "This program is a testimony to the brand attributes of durability, quality and reliability associated with Honda cars and we believe it will further enhance peace of mind to our customers," said Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President & Director, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India.

The program gives a coverage of one year/20,000 kilometers and the following are the eligibility criteria to opt for it:
- Vehicle age less than 10 Years (from policy start date).
- Odometer reading less than 1,20,000 Kms from new vehicle sale date.
- Customer can opt for this program anytime even after expiry of Standard Warranty / Extended Warranty.
- The vehicle will be required to qualify a formal inspection by authorised dealer in case of a break in warranty and preventive maintenance service.
Honda says that the dealer will repair or replace any part which proves to be defective within the limits of Any Time Warranty (subject to terms and conditions applicable) at no charges to the customer for parts and labor.
Honda is a key player in the Indian passenger vehicle segment. Established here in December of 1995, the Japanese company's product portfolio includes Jazz, Amaze, WR-V, City, Civic and CR-V. All of these are manufactured in India while the Accord is sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) imported from Thailand.
