Mercedes-Benz set to bring fastest AMG ever to Indian shores at Auto Expo 2020

Mercedes-Benz pavilion at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 will once again seek to grab limelight and eyeballs with the German luxury car maker all set to showcase a number of high-profile models which includes the fastest ever AMG.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Mercedes confirmed the India debut of GT 63 S4MATIC which is a four-door coupe and is the fastest AMG ever. The car, in fact, is the world's fastest series production four-seater.

If that is not enough to retain attention, Mercedes will also unveil the A-Class limousine which, according to the company, features next generation telematics and infotainment system, and offers premium luxury and cabin space and comfort. The car is being targeted towards a younger demographic and forms a key part of Mercedes' 2020 plans for India.

In addition, the new GLA will also be showcased at the Auto Expo and the car will further bolster the company's SUV profile here.

After launching the EQ brand in India earlier in January, Mercedes will also showcase specialty car EQC 400 4MATIC Edition 1886. The German giants have big plans to go electric in the future and India could see a number of launches in this segment in the times to come.
