Maruti Suzuki Alto gets VXI+ as top variant, priced at ₹3.80 lakh
- The new top variant of the popular Maruti hatchback has got Smartplay infotainment system, dual airbags, ABS & EBD and a lot more other features.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the launch of a new top variant for one of its most popular hatchback Alto. The VXI+ variant of the new Maruti Alto is priced at Rs. 380,209 exshowroom (Delhi).
The new Alto VXI+ is offered with SmartPlay Studio that is housed in a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system. It is enabled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SmartPlay Studio also comes with customisable and vibrant graphical user interface.

The new Alto VXI+ gets an elegant aero edge design and stylish dual-tone interiors. It will have enhanced safety features like dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and seat belt reminder for both driver and co-driver.
The hatchback will have a BS6 compliant engine delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.05 km/litre.

Alto is the most popular offering from the Maruti Suzuki stable. Recently the company announced that 38 lakh Alto units have been sold in India since the car was first launched here back in 2000.
In India, the Alto competes with Renault Kwid, Hyundai Santro and Datsun redi-Go, among others.
