At a time when pollution is touching record highs in several Indian cities and towns, many have put the blame squarely on a burst in vehicular population. On the horizon are hopes of cars, trucks, buses and two-wheelers soon adopting cleaner technologies to cut emission levels and to this end, International Centre for Automotive Technology (iCAT) has sought to bring together the industry, research and academic experts in an event focusing on current and upcoming smart and green technologies.
'NuGen Mobility Summit – Disruption Unveils' will be held in Manesar (Haryana) on Wednesday and Thursday with Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways in attendance.
The inaugural session will examine existing challenges facing the automotive sector in India and elsewhere, and hone in possible solutions.
iCAT will also unveil the study on performance assessment of various Electrified Vehicle technologies.
