The seat for the pillion is too small for my family member, leading to an uncomfortable experience on even 50 km rides. Also, the low beam of the LED headlamp is too scattered, making night riding difficult. The design choices compromise practicality.

Strong Road Presence with a Distinctive Character

First of all, looks matter the most when it comes to road presence, and the Ronin delivers this perfectly. I really like the exhaust note—it has a deep, roaring sound that adds to the riding experience. Overall, this bike offers a great balance of mileage, looks, performance, and comfort for long rides. TVS also provides a good service experience; the staff are well-behaved, and there are plenty of service centers available. All in all, it has been a complete and satisfying package for me.

Comfortable, Stylish, and Smooth to Ride

The TVS Ronin is an excellent bike for both daily commuting and long rides. Its design looks premium and unique, attracting attention on the road. The riding posture is very comfortable, so you don’t feel tired even after long rides. The engine is smooth and refined, making it perfect for city traffic as well as highway cruising. Gear shifts are easy, and the bike feels stable at higher speeds. Mileage is decent, and maintenance costs are reasonable. The suspension handles rough roads well, and the brakes inspire confidence.

Perfect Balance of Comfort and Performance

The Ronin 225cc is a well-balanced motorcycle that stands out for its comfort, refined engine, and unique design. Its 225cc engine feels smooth and responsive, especially during city rides. One of the Ronin’s strongest highlights is rider comfort. The upright seating posture, wide handlebar, and well-cushioned seat make long rides less tiring. The suspension performs well, effectively absorbing bumps and uneven roads, which is particularly beneficial on Indian road conditions. The design feels modern and distinctive compared to typical street bikes, giving the motorcycle a premium appeal. Features such as the digital instrument cluster, riding modes, and safety technologies enhance rider confidence.

Good Value, Some Minor Issues

TVS has given a lot of features for the price, which is excellent. However, I noticed the gear shifting is sometimes a little hard, especially from 1st to 2nd, which can be annoying in traffic. A solid purchase with a few mechanical quirks.

Unstable at High Speed and Engine Cut-Outs

The bike feels very light and tends to weave slightly above 105 kmph. The engine also randomly cut out on me twice while riding, only to start again after a key cycle. TVS needs to check the ECU or fueling system for stability issues.

Engine Vibrations and Paint Quality

I started feeling excessive vibrations on the tank and footpegs after 5000 km when riding above 85 kmph. The paint quality on the fuel cap area also seems poor, with minor chipping already starting. Not the premium long-term ownership I expected.

Engine is Excellent, But Design is Polarizing

The engine is butter smooth and has ample torque. My only complaint is the design; the front looks a bit too big for the rear, making it look a bit disproportionate from some angles. Great mechanics, divisive looks.

Great Comfort, Slightly High Service Cost

The comfort level is truly 5-star; my wrists and back never hurt. But the routine service costs are slightly higher than my previous TVS bike, sometimes exceeding ₹1800. Worth it for the comfort, but hits the pocket a bit.
