The total journey was approximately 2,000 km, completed in just 4–5 days. The Jawa 42 is an excellent bike for long rides—very comfortable for solo touring and smooth even on tough roads. The bike is still in great condition after the trip, and I didn’t face any issues or extra expenses. It gave an impressive mileage of around 35 km/l throughout the journey. Overall, it’s a strong and reliable touring bike. I’m really happy with it!

The Jawa 42 is pure class. The design is so retro and stylish, and the ride is smooth. The engine sound is also amazing, really makes me feel like a biker legend.
I am totally loving the Jawa 42. The riding experience is so comfortable, and the bike’s power is spot on. Perfect for long trips as well as city rides.
It’s just okay on highways. The Jawa 42 feels stable, but I find it doesn’t handle fast speeds as well as I expected. It’s better suited for city rides in my opinion.
Customer service could be better. I faced some issues with my bike, and it took a while to get help. The Jawa 42 is nice, but the service experience left a little to be desired!

It’s perfect for city riding! I can weave through traffic easily, and it’s not heavy at all. The Jawa 42 makes commuting much more enjoyable than being stuck in a car!

Unreliable Starter, Service Hassle
The bike heats up quickly in heavy city traffic, making the ride uncomfortable on the thighs. The weight is a serious issue for daily city maneuvers and tight parking. I faced oil leakage from the engine head after the first service, which was a disappointment regarding the supposed improvement in quality. The ride quality is decent when the roads are open. The high kerb weight (around 195kg) should be reduced for city usability. Does it heat up? Yes, noticeably in city traffic. Is it suitable for city traffic?
