Hero Electric Nyx HX Design:
This electric scooter has a mid-2000 era scooter design on the front and a utilitarian rear side. Hero Electric has designed this scooter to serve as a commuter as well as functional scooter to carry stuff in the rear. A small dashboard below the ignition switch has a bottle holder as well as adequate space to carry a phone and few documents. The Hero Electric Nyx HX is available in two colours, Silver and Black. A minimalistic red & white sticker job surrounds the scooter and a green suspension in the rear makes it distinct.

The Hero Electric Nyx HX is longer than an average electric commuter. It comes equipped with two separate seats where the rear one can be folded to provide as a backrest to the rider. A utility box can be installed in place of the rear seat. The back seat could also be removed totally to make way for a bigger utility box. The scooter weighs about 80 kilograms.

The combi-brake feature ensures better stopping capability as this scooter has drum brakes on both ends. Regenerative braking also allows the battery to charge. An all LED lighting setup on this scooter minimizes power consumption when compared to incandescent bulbs. The scooter also gets a fully digital instrument cluster with a USB charging socket to charge mobile phones. An anti-theft alarm is also included as standard.

A 600 watt motor is paired with two 51.2 volt 30 Ampere hours lithium-ion batteries. The Hero Electric Nyx HX has two batteries out of which one can be conveniently charged while not in use. The scooter has a top speed of 42kmph.

Each battery takes four to five hours to charge fully. According to Hero Electric, the Nyx HX gets a riding range of 138 kilometers in a single charge.
