The Hero Xoom 160 is a premium, ADV-style scooter that marks the brand’s foray into the performance scooter segment. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Xoom 160 features a liquid-cooled engine, aggressive design language, and a strong set of features aimed at urban riders and touring enthusiasts alike. It was launched alongside the smaller Xoom 125 and is the most powerful scooter in Hero’s lineup.
The Hero Xoom 160 price starts at ₹1,48,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is offered in a single fully loaded ZX variant with the option of customising it further with accessories like a touring box and an extended visor.
The Xoom 160 was officially launched in India on January 17, 2025. Deliveries are expected to commence in August or September 2025, as per the latest update from Hero MotoCorp.
Hero offers the Xoom 160 in a single ZX variant. It is offered in four colour choices: Matte Rainforest Green, Matte Volcanic Grey, Summit White, and Canyon Red. These colourways complement its rugged and sporty ADV-inspired styling.
The ARAI-claimed mileage is 40 kmpl. Real-world fuel economy may vary depending on road conditions and riding style.
The Xoom 160 adopts a unique design with ADV styling cues such as a tall windscreen, block-pattern tyres, and a muscular front apron. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is managed by a front disc with single-channel ABS.
The scooter is powered by a 156 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 14.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The motor is paired with a CVT and includes features such as keyless ignition and a silent start system. A four-valve head contributes to better breathing and efficiency.
In terms of features, the Xoom 160 offers a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument console with support for call/SMS alerts, smartphone pairing, and turn-by-turn navigation. Other key features include dual-chamber LED headlamps, smart key functionality, and remote access for added convenience.
Hero MotoCorp has not announced any introductory offers or promotional deals for the Xoom 160 as of now. However, dealer-level schemes or bundled accessory packages may become available closer to the start of deliveries.
