The Hector's cabin quality and sheer number of features won me over. The ADAS system is well-calibrated, though I turn off the Lane Keep Assist in heavy city lanes. The car feels solid and the connected tech is useful for remote functions.

However, if you floor it for a quick overtake, the CVT 'rubber band' effect and turbo lag are noticeable. Not a car for enthusiasts. It's a comfortable, feature-loaded cruiser. The high seating position is great for visibility.

The ventilated seats and Infinity sound system make my daily commute a luxury. It eats up bad roads thanks to the soft suspension. My kids love the voice command features. Safety feels solid with 6 airbags and disc brakes all around. Looks big and bold on the road. Highly recommend the top variant for all the tech.

The ride quality is superb and the steering is light, which is good for city too. Is Hector suitable for long drives? Yes, absolutely! The cabin insulation is quiet and the power delivery from the diesel motor is linear. Huge boot for all the family luggage. Mileage on the highway is a decent 16 kmpl.

Mileage in heavy city traffic is low (around 8 kmpl), which is its only con. Feature-wise, it's unbeatable in this price bracket, the panoramic roof alone changes the cabin feel. I wish the build quality felt a little more substantial like some rivals.

Smooth drive in city traffic, very comfortable. The cabin space is truly unmatched, backseat legroom is a blessing for long trips. The 360-degree camera is a lifesaver for parking in tight spots. Only drawback is the city mileage (around 9 km/l), but I knew that when buying a big petrol turbo SUV. Service experience has been hassle-free so far.

The massive screen and i-Smart connectivity are miles ahead of the competition. Road presence is huge. The diesel engine (2.0L) has great mid-range torque for highway overtakes. Family loves the panoramic sunroof. ADAS Level 2 features like ACC feel premium and make long journeys effortless. Absolutely a 5-star experience, totally justifies the price for the comfort and tech it offers.

The infotainment system is a pain, the petrol mileage is abysmal, and the car has a lot of body roll. It's not a driver's car at all. The engine is a bit sluggish, especially the petrol one, but it's okay for city driving. The huge touchscreen is impressive but can be buggy. The ride is plush and the cabin is spacious. But OMG, the infotainment screen is a nightmare. It lags, it freezes, and sometimes just turns off on its own. The space is incredible, and the comfort levels are next-level, especially with the ventilated seats. The massive touchscreen is a showstopper, and the voice commands work most of the time. The diesel engine is peppy enough for both city and highway driving and gives a decent mileage of around 15 kmpl on highways. The panoramic sunroof is a huge hit with the kids!
