In 40 degree heat, this feature is a life saver. MG has given it for both front seats. Totally worth the price of the top variant.
The white Hector Plus looks very royal. The contrast with black roof is amazing. The paint quality is also very high.
The automatic is very smooth. No jerks at all. Power delivery is linear. Good for relaxed driving style. MG Hector Plus is a great cruiser.
On high speeds, the car feels a bit bouncy on highways. Suspension is too soft for fast cornering. Also the brakes feel a bit spongy to me.
MG service centers are very professional. They explain everything clearly. Maintenance cost is also under control with the AMC plans they offer.
192mm is enough for most speed breakers. Haven't scraped the bottom once even with 6 people inside. Good for Indian roads.
Usually 3rd row gets hot but MG has provided dedicated vents with control. My kids are happy sitting in the back during trips.
Sitting in the back and looking through the glass roof is a great experience during rain. It makes the car feel very open.
While features are great, the processing speed of the screen is slow. It takes time to load music folders from USB. Needs faster RAM.
MG service plans are very affordable. My first year service was almost free. They are very transparent about the costs.

Big windows and mirrors mean you don't have many blind spots. The high seating position gives a great view of the road ahead.
I noticed some paint chipping near the wheel arch after just 3 months. Quality of paint could be better for such a costly car.
From wireless charging to cooled seats, it has everything. You don't need to add any accessory from outside. Best package overall.
Outside noise doesn't come inside at all. It is very quiet even on busy roads. Makes the music experience even better.
The dashboard feels very premium with leather and soft materials. It doesn't feel like a typical Indian SUV. Very happy with interiors.

The 2.0L engine is a beast. It pulls the car effortlessly even with 7 people. Overtaking on highway is very easy with this torque.
With all rows up, you can barely fit two laptop bags. This is a common problem in 7 seaters but MG should have managed it better.
Once a cyclist came suddenly and the car applied brakes before I could. ADAS is definitely worth the extra money for safety.

Electronics failing
Comfort is great but fuel efficiency is a nightmare. I am barely getting 7 kmpl in the city with AC. Also the software is very slow to boot up. Sometimes I have to wait for 30 seconds just to use the reverse camera.Read more
