Step inside, and the car feels spacious, offering excellent rear legroom and a clean dashboard layout loaded with premium features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system, a crisp sound system, and ambient lighting that enhances the overall cabin experience.
The manual gearbox is very slick. It clicks into place perfectly. Clutch is also very light, so no leg pain in traffic. The gear ratios are well spaced for city use.
My younger brother loves looking out of the sunroof. It makes the car feel very modern. The voice commands work for opening the sunroof too, which is very cool.
The handling is quite sharp for a city car. It zips through traffic easily. The brakes are confidence-inspiring. It has that sporty DNA that appeals to younger buyers like me.
Gifted this to my sister and she loves it. It’s safe, easy to drive, and looks very stylish. The reverse camera with guidelines makes parking a breeze for her.
The layout is very ergonomic. Everything is within reach. The buttons have a nice tactile feel. The all-black theme is very sporty yet elegant. Best cabin in the business.
The car feels very stable during lane changes. Suspension handles minor potholes very well. It's not too soft, which prevents that boat-like bounciness at high speeds.
The small touches like puddle lamps make it feel so premium when you unlock it at night. The welcome greeting on the cluster is also a cute feature. Very personalized feel.

The low-end torque is missing. You have to keep shifting gears in heavy traffic to keep the momentum. Not the best engine for hilly terrains. Good only for flat city roads.
My parents find the rear seat very supportive. The armrest is at the perfect height. The window area is large so they don't feel claustrophobic during long drives.
While it's great for parking, the steering feels a bit disconnected at high speeds on the highway. I wish it had a bit more weight to it for more confidence while cornering.
You get so many features that are usually found in cars a segment above. It feels like a complete package. The ownership experience so far has been very smooth and easy.
The 10.25 inch screen is a joy to use. Navigation is accurate and the UI is very snappy. Wireless phone charging works without heating up my phone much.
The design is very futuristic. The way the lines flow from front to back is beautiful. Every time I park it, I turn back to look at it once. Very happy with the purchase.
The engine refinement is on another level. No vibrations on the gear lever or pedals. Even at high speeds, the cabin remains relatively quiet. Great job by Hyundai.
Getting 6 airbags as standard is a big win for Hyundai. The Hill Assist works perfectly on mall ramps. I feel very secure driving my kids around in this car.
Hyundai cars hold their value well. The i20 is always in demand in the used car market. It’s a safe investment. The paint quality is also superior and doesn't fade.
I am 5'10 and I can sit behind my own driving position comfortably. The wheelbase is quite long for a hatch. Plenty of space for a family of four for long weekend getaways.
The doors have a decent thud. It doesn't feel tinny like some competitors. The plastics used inside are hard but they feel durable and don't rattle over bad roads.
The 1.2 engine is too lazy. If you like quick overtakes, this will frustrate you. It’s built for comfort, not speed. Only buy if you are a sedate driver who likes features.
When you sit inside, you forget it’s a hatchback. The dashboard layout is very wide and premium. Steering wheel feels great to hold. It has a very confident road presence.
Those Z-shaped tail lamps and the sharp DRLs make the i20 stand out. At night, it looks like a high-end European hatch. Interior ambient lighting is also very soothing.
I love the car but the service center always pushes for extras. The general maintenance is also higher than my previous Maruti. Parts are a bit expensive if they break.
The rear seat is wide enough for my Golden Retriever to sit comfortably. The rear AC vents ensure he stays cool during summer trips. The cabin materials are easy to clean too.

The soft suspension makes the car roll a lot in corners. The body-roll is very distracting. The lack of a high safety rating is a constant worry. Mileage is the only true Maruti benefit here. Service is cheap.Read more
