Bike cost over 20 lakh ex-showroom, but small rubber seals and plastic trim quality feel cheap. Replacement parts cost fortune and take months to import from UK. Very dissatisfied.
Subodh Mukherjee (Aug 31, 2026)
Yogesh Kulhari(Aug 31, 2026)
Showa semi active suspension sensor showed error code twice on highway trip. Replacement under warranty took endless follow-ups with Triumph service team. Unreliable electronics.
Yogesh Kulhari (Aug 31, 2026)
Aakash Srivastava(Aug 31, 2026)
Terrible offroad experience due to top heavy nature when fuel tank is full. Dropped bike on small trail and lifting it up single handedly is almost impossible. Avoid if beginner.

Tiger 1200 has great highway dynamics but software glitches in TFT display and high heat in traffic pull down full ownership satisfaction. Good for long tours only.

The weight of 245 kg kerb mass makes parking and turning in tight places a nightmare. Seat height is extremely tall even in lowest setting. Mileage in city drops below 11 kmpl.

Shaft drive is zero maintenance and lighting is great. However engine vibration creeps into handlebars above 6000 RPM and seat cushion feels firm on full day touring.

The 30 litre fuel tank on Explorer gives huge range, but makes motorcycle feel top heavy when filled fully. Good feature set but pricey maintenance overall.

Very disappointing experience for price paid.

Ranjeet Prasad(Aug 31, 2026)
Great build and highway stability. Mileage is around 16 Kmpl. Maintenance charges are steep and spare parts availability in tier-2 cities takes considerable waiting time.
Ranjeet Prasad (Aug 31, 2026)
Rajeev Shukla(Aug 31, 2026)
Electronics like cornering ABS work well. Windscreen provides decent wind protection. Quickshifter feels jerky in lower gears. Overall average value for money.

Spare parts are ridiculously expensive in India and service network is very poor outside major metros.

Ashwin Kumar(Aug 31, 2026)
Amazing road presence and build. Handling in off-road dirt trails requires expert skill due to weight. Highway performance remains solid and comfortable.
Ashwin Kumar (Aug 31, 2026)
Nitin Malhotra(Aug 31, 2026)
Tiger 1200 is amazing on highways with radar features, but engine heat and heavy clutch action make city traffic commutes quite tiring. Fuel economy stays near 15 kmpl.
Nitin Malhotra (Aug 31, 2026)
Kamal Kishore(Aug 31, 2026)
Power delivery from 1160cc triple motor is punchy. Suspension is smooth, but high seat height and heavy frame make slow speed maneuvers tricky for average height riders.

Vishal Narang(Aug 31, 2026)
Excellent Brembo brakes and electronic safety package. But TFT screen boots up slowly and official accessories cost a fortune in India. Decent overall adventure machine.
Vishal Narang (Aug 31, 2026)

Shaft drive mechanism is clean and smooth. Heavy exhaust silencer increases overall rear end weight noticeably.
Lalit Tyagi (Aug 27, 2026)
Sunder Rajan(Aug 27, 2026)
Lean angle sensitive traction control works great on gravel. Replacing side crash guards is very expensive.

Premium switchgear and paint finish look great. Screen menu navigation needs few extra button clicks to reach options.

Alok Mittal(Aug 27, 2026)
Showa suspension eats up bad roads like nothing else. Official Triumph service centers are few in South India.
Alok Mittal (Aug 27, 2026)
Naman Gupta(Aug 27, 2026)
Quickshifter makes highway acceleration effortless. Fuel indicator display fluctuates slightly on inclines.
Naman Gupta (Aug 27, 2026)
Dhruv Kapoor(Aug 27, 2026)
Amazing highway power and stability. Turning radius in narrow mountain U-turns requires extra caution due to weight.
Dhruv Kapoor (Aug 27, 2026)

Distinctive nose design looks sharp. Engine heat is noticeable near knees during summer city commutes.
