Ducati launches Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse, priced at ₹10.99 lakh
- The chassis of the motorcycle has been specifically designed to cope with off-road use.
Premium motorcycle manufacturer Ducati on Monday has announced the launch of the Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse, a limited and numbered edition of Scrambler Desert Sled, priced at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The special edition motorcycle will be available in a limited number of 800 units and all of these are claimed to have been already sold out.

The motorcycle has been developed to celebrate the collaboration between Ducati Scrambler and apparel brand Fasthouse, claims the iconic motorcycle brand. Ducati claims that the Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse has been designed for riders who love off-road motorcycling.

Based on the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled, the Fasthouse model comes with a special livery, replicating the graphics that were used by the bikes that took part in the Mint 400 race. The motorcycle is painted in black and grey, which combine in a geometric design on the fuel tank. The Fasthouse logo is inserted alongside the Ducati Scrambler badging.
The frame is painted in Ducati Red, while front and rear mudguards come black painted. It gets an aluminium plate bearing the number of the bike within the limited series. This strategy makes each one of the 800 motorcycles unique.
Ducati claims that the motorcycle comes with a customized riding position. The saddle gets a non-slip coating. The motorcycle gets 860 mm seat height and adjustable Kayaba suspension with 200 mm travel. The footpegs too have been designed keeping a focus on off-road-centric use. They get removable rubber pads.
The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels get black spokes and are wrapped with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse is powered by an 803 cc engine.
Commenting on the launch of this motorcycle, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said that The Scrambler Desert Sled is one of the most capable off-road bikes in the segment. "The Fasthouse carries an absolutely distinctive-looking Scrambler Desert Sled liveries in recent past and is the coolest Desert machine, which is why only 800 people in the world can have it! When we opened the bookings to our dealer network, the initial allocation for the Indian market was sold out within minutes," he further added.
