Dual panoramic screen catches fingerprints easily and direct noon sunlight makes reading screen slightly hard. Space is good.
Emergency braking gets activated with high force in local city traffic. I keep it turned off inside town roads.
On deep wavy highway patches, rear suspension bounces a bit. Inside city limits, ride of Carens Clavis is fully sorted.
1.5 NA petrol feels lazy when climbing flyovers with 7 people. You have to push it hard. Turbo petrol is much better.
Missing simple manual option in top-tier diesel variants. Torque converter automatic is great but expensive to purchase.
Wireless charging plate heats up my iPhone quickly and charging speed is slightly lazy. Rest of tech of Carens Clavis is fully brilliant.

White LED beam of Carens Clavis has excellent range. High beam throw is deep. Night driving is very easy now.
Smooth touch screen and dual display looks high class. Apple CarPlay integration works without any wire. Carens Clavis is genius.

Electronics failing
Comfort is great but fuel efficiency is a nightmare. I am barely getting 7 kmpl in the city with AC. Also the software is very slow to boot up. Sometimes I have to wait for 30 seconds just to use the reverse camera.Read more
