Suzuki gifts five Gixxer SF 250 motorcycles to Aizawl Police
- Suzuki had showcased the BS 6 version of the Gixxer SF 250 bikes at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2020.
Suzuki Motorcycles India have associated themselves with Mizoram’s Aizwal Traffic Police. The company gifted five of its popular Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 motorcycles to help Aizawl Traffic Police in maintaining traffic rules in the city.
Suzuki had showcased the BS 6 version of the Gixxer SF 250 bikes at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2020. The motorcycle is yet to be launched but we estimate that it will come at a premium of ₹4,000 over the outgoing BS4 bike.

In terms of design, the GIxxer SF 250 continues to be the same as the old BS 4 model. Among the top features, the Gixxer SF 250 has a LED headlight, dual-channel ABS, split seat and clip-on handlebars, a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes on both ends. The Suzuki Gixxer 250 also has an all-digital instrument console.
The company has not revealed the prices for the BS 6 versions of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. However, it is widely expected to be marginally higher than the BS 5 version of the motorcycle.
Currently, the bike is priced at ₹1.71 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Gixxer SF 250 is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It can produce 26.5PS of power and peak torque at 22.2Nm.
