2020 Suzuki Hayabusa

The Hayabusa from Suzuki has been synonymous with speed and thrill for several years and has had a wide fan following around the world. Counted among some of the most appreciated superbikes, the Hayabusa has retained a podium place for itself and its 2020 version appears determined to keep pace.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) recently brought in the 2020 Hayabusa to India, clearly appreciating the need to satiate the appetite of sportsbike aficionados. Priced at 13.74 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi), it remains quite the pricey proposition but it also promises to now give even more bang for the buck.

The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340cc liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine which belts out 197 hp at 9,500 rpm. There's also 155 Nm of peak torque at 7,200 rpm which propels the superbike from stationery to 100 kmph in a lightening quick 2.74 seconds. It has a top speed of 299 kmph.

The 2020 Hayabusa will be available in two colour options - Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red. It will also get new body graphics and front brake caliper.

Unfortunately, however, the new Hayabusa is a BS 4 model and won't meet with the upcoming BS 6 emission norms. It is, therefore, available only in limited quantity.
