The Hero Xtreme 125R is Hero MotoCorp’s attempt to bring sporty styling and premium features into the 125cc commuter segment. It’s designed for young riders who want performance, style, and practicality in one affordable package.
Design & Styling
The Xtreme 125R draws direct inspiration from bigger streetfighters. It features a muscular fuel tank, sharp LED headlamp, and aggressive body panels, giving it a sportier stance compared to regular 125cc bikes. The dual-tone finish, bold graphics, and aerodynamic bodywork make it look almost like a 150–160cc machine at first glance. In the red color I own, it really stands out on the road.
Engine & Performance
Powered by a 124.7cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, it produces 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm. The 5-speed gearbox offers smooth shifts and easy handling in city traffic. The top speed is around 90–95 km/h, respectable for its class. It is peppy enough for city rides, though not designed for aggressive highway runs.Read more
