TVS launches BS 6-compliant Apache RR 310 at starting price of ₹2.40 lakh

TVS Motor has taken the covers off the 2020 edition of Apache RR 310 which is BS 6 compliant and now starts at a price point of ₹2.40 lakh (ex showroom). Offered in two colour options, the Apache RR 310 boasts of a number of segment firsts and enhanced racing capabilities.
The Apache RR 310 features Throttle-by-Wire technology that electronically connects the throttle grip to the throttle body by replacing a conventional throttle cable. It also incorporates a UI / UX designed interactive 5-inch Vertical TFT Multi Information Race Computer with Control Cubes, Bluetooth Enabled SmartXonnect and 4 ride modes namely - Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track. The ride modes allow the rider to adjust the bike to varying road and weather conditions and optimise performance.

For city commute, the Apache RR 310 gets what TVS calls GTT+ (Glide Through Technology Plus) which enables 'extremely smooth and controlled low speed urban riding.' Additionally, the bike can be connected to the TVS Connect App for telemetry analytics like interactive map plot, gear distribution, day wise trip analysis etc.
The Apache RR 310 also gets a reverse Inclined DOHC (Double Over Head Cam) Liquid cooled Engine with additional oil cooling technology mated to a 6-Speed Gear Box, RT-Slipper Clutch, Bi-LED Twin Projector Head Lamps and Michelin Road 5 tyres, and is available in Racing Red & Titanium Black.
