Suzuki launches BS 6-compliant 2020 Burgman Street at ₹77,900
- The BS 6-compliant Burgman Street was showcased by Suzuki Motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2020 earlier this month.
Suzuki Motorcycles has officially launched the BS 6 version of the Suzuki Burgman Street scooter today at the price of ₹77,900 (ex-showroom). With the launch of the new version, Suzuki has discontinued the BS 4 version of Burgman Street altogether.
The BS 6-compliant Burgman Street was showcased by Suzuki Motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2020 earlier this month.
The look and feel of the new Burgman Street is not very different from its predecessor. However, there is one major difference between the two. The Burgman Street scooter now gets a Fuel Injection technology, which enables easy start even in cold conditions and smoother power delivery, and an engine kill switch.

The new Burgman Street comes with aluminium 4 stroke, single cylinder 124cc engine. It can produce max power of 8.7 PS @ 6750rpm and 10 Nm @ 5500 rpm of torque.
As far as design is concerned, the new Burgman Street gets chrome accent on the front and rear, body-mounted windscreen and upward muffler design. It also features a glove box with DC socket that helps charging cellphones on the go.
The new Burgman Street will be available in four colours – Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red.

The price of the 2020 Burgman Street has been fixed at ₹77,900. Despite minimal changes compared to its BS 4 version, the scooter is now more expensive by around ₹7,000.
