Hero MotoCorp launches new Passion Pro bike at starting price of ₹64,990

Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Passion Pro motorbike at an event in Jaipur today. The new bike comes with a new BS 6 engine. The starting price for the bike has been fixed at ₹64,990 (ex-showroom).

The new Hero Passion Pro will be powered by a 110cc fuel injected engine that can produce 8.9 bhp power and 9.79 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. The company claims that the new Passion Pro will have at least 5 per cent better mileage with the upgraded engine. The i3S idle start stop fuel saving technology is also incorporated to help in better mileage. The BS 4 version of Hero Passion Pro was also powered by a 110cc 4-stroke engine that offered 9.3 hp power and 9 Nm torque.

Besides a new engine, the new BS 6 Passion Pro gets all-new triple tone paint theme, upgraded instrument cluster, new headlamp and taillamp as well as a bigger fuel tank. The suspension of the new bike has been tweaked a bit to suit city driving. The ground clearance has also been raised by around 15 mm.

The new Hero Passion Pro will come with a feature called Auto Sail that promises better handling. The company stated that the feature will make manoeuvre the bike in heavy traffic much easier now.

The new Hero Passio Pro will be offered in four colour variants - Sports Red, Techno Blue, Moon Yellow and Glaze Black.

The drum variants of the all-new Hero Passion Pro will cost ₹64,990 and the disc variants are priced at ₹67,190.

The Hero Passion Pro will take on commuter motorcycles like the TVS Victor, TVS Star City Plus and Honda Livo among others.
