Hero MotoCorp launches BS 6 version of Maestro Edge 125 scooter at ₹67,950

Hero MotoCorp has launched the BS 6-complaint Maestro Edge 125 scooter at a starting price of ₹67,950. The company also launched the facelift version of BS 6 version Destini 125 scooter at the price of ₹64,310.
The new Hero Maestro Edge 125 gets a telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers suspension at the front and a single swing suspension with spring loaded hydraulic damper at the rear. The Maestro Edge 125 is powered by a 125cc engine with fuel injection that generates power of 9 Bhp at 7000 Rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5500 Rpm.

The company claims that the new Mastero Edge 125 is 11 per cent more efficient and has 10 per cent faster acceleration than its predecessor.
One unique feature that the new Maestro Edge 125 has got is the new gradient colour technology that can make the colour change according to light situations.
Besides this, the new Maestro Edge 125 also gets some of the features from its BS 4 version like an external fuel-filler cap, digi-analogue instrumentation cluster and side-stand and service indicators.
The BS 6-ready version of the Hero Maestro Edge 125 was launched last year. The new version is expensive by more than ₹3,000. It will compete with the likes of Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Burgman Street 125 and Aprilia Storm 125.
