This is a top of the line sports bike from the global Suzuki stable. With design inspired from Suzuki’s GSX-RR model of MotoGP superbikes, this is the closest road-worthy model there is when compared to the MotoGP counterpart. 
Since its release in the global market, motorcycle enthusiasts have named it the original “Gixxer” which is dubbed the “King of Sportbikes”.

This superbike is expected to launch in India somewhere in August 2022 or later. 
 

 Suzuki GSX R1000R Price: 

 

As per sources, only one fully equipped model of the GSX R1000R will hit the Indian market at an estimated cost of Rs. 19.81 lakhs. 
 

 Suzuki GSX R1000R Design: 

 

Since this is one of the best sport bikes from Suzuki, it gets top notch design that is inspired from their podium finishing MotoGP motorcycle. 
Apart from the Hayabusa, Suzuki has given the GSX R1000R supreme aerodynamics and an aggressive sport bike look. 
A huge exhaust takes much of the right side rear end while maintaining a mass-forward design with adequate fairings on either side to give it a streamlined approach. 
Taking hints from other markets, this big Gixxer is expected to be released in two colour schemes, Metallic Matte Black and Glass Matte Mechanical Grey with contrasting graphics. 
 
 Suzuki GSX R1000R Dimension: 
 

For a superbike, the GSX R1000R is quite robust. It has a width of 2.3 feet and a length of 6.8 feet making it as compact as possible. 
Although this is a top-notch superbike, it only weighs 202 kilos; as much a typical Royal Enfield. 
The high-performance engine with proper aerodynamics and a light weight makes it a formidable beast of a machine. 
 

 Suzuki GSX R1000R Features: 

 

This superbike has a plethora of features including Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that prevents unintentional wheelies as well as regulates ABS and traction control while the rider negotiates a curve. 
Other major features include launch control, adjustable traction control, Suzuki Bi-Directional Quick Shift System, a full LED lighting system and a fully digital black background LCD multifunction instrument panel.

The Suzuki GSX R1000R is a superbike that gives a decent 15 to 16 kilometers a litre. It has a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres. 
 

 Suzuki GSX R1000R Rivals: 

 

The GSX R1000R has very few rivals, mostly from the Japanese Big-4 and few European companies. 
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Kawasaki Ninja 1000, Honda CBR 1000RR, Yamaha YZF R1 and R1M, BMW S1000 RR, Ducati Panigale V2, Ducati Panigale V4, Ducati SuperSport 950 and Aprilia RSV4 are direct rivals to the GSX R1000R.

When it comes to street bikes, the 650cc class is what most prefer. The Suzuki SV650 is a capable machine with the right features to make it one of the best street bikes ever. 
Since its release in 1999, it has been one of the leaders in the street bike segment in major countries across the world. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Launch Date: 
 

The new version of the SV650 is expected to be launched in India in February 2023 or later. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Price: 

 

Taking a hint from other markets, the Suzuki SV650 is expected to cost about Rs. 6.2 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Design: 

 

This street bike is well balanced despite most of the mass being put to the front end. The SV650 is built around an exposed frame giving it a fearless stance. 
Although it has retained most of its design cues since 1999, the newest model has a few extra defining lines on the tank and headlight crown. An upswept exhaust does most of the talking in the rear. 
The SV650 is expected to be launched in Metallic Matte Black paint scheme. The tank is painted matte black, the rest of the body in metallic black while the frame and rims are painted dark blue. The three tone paint scheme makes it stand out of the crowd. 
The earlier models however came in Metallic Silver, Glass Sparkle Black as well as Metallic Matte Black. 
 
 Suzuki SV650 Dimension: 

 

The dimensions and design of the SV650 has adequately matched the middle-weight street-bike segment. It is just 2.5 feet in width and 7 feet in length. 
An absence of a bash-plate on an already exposed engine, makes the engine and silencer bend-pipe even further. With a ground clearance of 135mm however, the SV640 should be able to negotiate through the streets well enough. 
The bike weighs 198 kilograms which is slightly lower than many Royal Enfield models. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Features: 

 

Apart from essential readings, the compact full digital LCD instrument cluster also displays coolant temperature, oil pressure, ABS alert, gear position, fuel consumption pattern and riding range. 
Suzuki’s Low RPM Assist feature under the EFI system adjusts the RPM according to the movement in traffic. This feature makes it quite impossible for the bike to stall while wading through traffic. 
The TI-ISC (Throttle-body Integrated Idle Speed Control) feature patented by Suzuki is included as a standard in the SV650. This system eases starting, regulates engine idling and reduces emissions. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Engine and Performance: 

 

A 645cc liquid-cooled 90 degree V-twin engine is mated with a 6-speed transmission. This mill produces 76 BHP at 8,500 RPM and 64 Nm torque at 8,100 RPM. 
Better engine management is given to the SV650 through its Engine Control Module (ECM). This system enhances the engine settings to provide better linear throttle response. 
The gear ratio is lower on this street bike to give better pickup. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Mileage: 

 
The Suzuki SV650 is popular among street bikes for returning a mileage of about 25 to 30 kilometres a litre. It has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres. 
Both cylinder heads of this V-twin engine feature Suzuki’s Dual Spark Technology that has higher combustion efficiency thereby, giving cleaner emissions and better fuel efficiency. 
 

 Suzuki SV650 Rivals: 

 

This midweight street bike has very few contenders. Direct rivals in terms of price and class include Kawasaki Ninja 650, Kawasaki Z650, Aprilia Tuono 660, Benelli TNT 600i, Triumph Trident 660, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, CFMoto 650 NK, KTM Duke 690 R and Yamaha MT-07. 
Kawasaki Vulcan S 650, Kawasaki Versys 650, Honda CB 650 R, Honda CBR 650 R, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, Suzuki V-Strom 650 and Ducati Scrambler are other noteworthy contenders to the Suzuki SV650.

It was first introduced to India in 2018 and later discontinued in 2020. 
The BS6 version of this 750cc brute is expected to be launched in India in July, 2022 or later.

From 2017 to 2020 in India, this 750 was priced between Rs. 7.45 lakhs to Rs. 7.48 lakhs, ex-showroom in Delhi. 
The newest model is expected to cost around the same, if not more. 
 

 Suzuki GSX S750 Design: 

 

This machine is a bulky brute designed under the midweight ‘street-fighter’ or ‘naked sports-bike’ classes. 
Its massive front end and mean looking headlamp do most of the talking when it comes to street presence. A majority of the styling comes from its elder sibling, the Suzuki GSX S1000. 
Earlier models of the S750 came in Metallic Triton Blue, Candy Daring Red, Pearl Glacier White and Metallic Matte Black. The newer GSX S750 is expected to come in these colours.

For a middle-weight street-fighter, this motorcycle has done justice with the design, dimensions and engine. The GSX S750 measures 2.5 feet in width and 6.9 feet in length.

Although the earlier model launched in India didn’t have a full LED set up, the newer version is expected to have it along with a list of new generation motorcycle technology. 
Taking a cue from the 2022 GSX S750 launched in America, this bike is also expected to feature a compact, fully digital, white-backlit LCD instrument panel that has adjustable light intensity. 
Apart from the essential readings like tachometer and speedometer, the instrument cluster will also display coolant temperature, riding range and fuel consumption patterns among others. Traction control, oil pressure and malfunction alert are also displayed to keep the rider informed about the bike’s health. 
 

 Suzuki GSX S750 Engine and Performance: 

 

The liquid-cooled, inline-four 749cc mill produces a torque rich riding experience to even negotiate city riding conditions. A low RPM assist feature helps in city riding conditions too. 
The engine produces 114.2 BHP at 10,500 RPM and 81 Nm torque at 9,000 RPM. The engine is linked with a 6-speed transmission. 
 

 Suzuki GSX S750 Mileage: 

 

The GSX S750 is said to return a mileage ranging from 16 to 18 kilometres a litre. It has a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres. 
 

 Suzuki GSX S750 Rivals: 

 

There are very few direct rivals to the GSX S750 due to the lack of motorcycles in the 750cc segment.
