After showcasing it at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Mecedes Benz is all set to launch the facelift GLC in India on December 3. There are several design changes on the outside while the SUV also gets visual and feature updates on the inside.

The GLC has been one of Mercedes Benz's most successful models on Indian roads and the German giant is planning to build on that success with the updated SUV. In its latest version, the GLC will feature new head lights, tail lights and design changes to the front and rear bumper.

On the inside, the car will get a massive 10.2-inch infotainment screen with a large touchpad. It is for the first time in the GLC range that the infotainment unit will feature Mercedes' much-acclaimed MBUX system. The company claims that MBUX 'promises to revolutionize infotainment systems with its ability to learn, thanks to artificial intelligence.' It comes with the 'Hey Mercedes' voice command feature integrated into it.

Under the hood, Mercedes will equip the GLC with the familiar 2.0-litre BS 6-complaint diesel engine while a 2.0-litre petrol motor too will be offered.

The SUV has been spotted on test runs in India on several occasions and its latest version will continue to lock horns against BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
