Auto Expo 2020: What to expect from Renault

French automaker Renault is expected to display 12 cars and two new engines at the Auto Expo 2020.
The Bharat Stage (BS) 6 compliant versions of the Kwid and MPV Triber will be showcased during the expo that begins from February 7. Duster’s BS-6 model may be presented too.

Renault may also surprise people by sharing a glimpse of its latest India-bound compact SUV, which is expected to be introduced sometime this year.The compact SUV is expected to compete with Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
The auto major has said that it will have a dedicated 'Electric Corner' space at its pavilion at 2020 Auto Expo.
Triber:The new Renault Triber will be BS-6 complaint. The automaker claims that new Triber is more energy efficient and that the mileage of the MPV is 19 kmpl.
The power output and torque of the new Triber is same as the earlier model. The price of the latest Renault Triber is likely to be between ₹4,000 and ₹15,000 depending on the variant.
The price of new Renault Triber starts from ₹4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes with projectors headlamps, LED instrument cluster, wheel arch cladding, EasyFix seats, front airbag for driver as well as passenger.
The Triber competes with Datsun Go+, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios among others.
Kwid:Renault has launched the BS-6 complaint variant of Kwid, available with both 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre engine options. Renault claims that the mileage of the Kwid has been increased to 22 kmpl.
The power and torque figures of the Kwid are same as the previous version.
The price of the new Kwid starts from ₹2.92 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes with new stylish grille, silver streak LED DRL, SUV-styled headlamps, body coloured bumpers, grey melange fabric seat upholstery and stylised gear knob.
