Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini deliveries commence, costs ₹72 lakh

Ducati India has announced that have started deliveries of their Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini in India. It is the brand's most expensive model as it costs a whopping ₹72 lakh ex-showroom. The first motorcycle has been delivered to Mr. Abhishek Agarwal, founder of Purple Style Labs. Ducati will only make 630 examples of the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini for the world and 63 units are reserved for Lamborghini owners.

The Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is inspired by Lamborghini Huracán STO which has been homologated for Super Trofeo. The colors used for the bike are exactly the same as those used for the Huracán STO, with a base in "Citrea Green" and contrasting parts in “Dac Orange." The motorcycle boasts ‘63’ number which recalls the founding year of the Lamborghini.

Powering the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine that puts out 205 bhp at a screaming 13,000 rpm along with 122 Nm of peak torque that comes at 9,500 rpm. Just like Ducati's MotoGP motorcycles, the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is also equipped with a dry clutch that is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There is also ride-by-wire and Ducati Quick Shift on offer.

Suspension duties on the motorcycle are performed by Ohlins NIX30 43 mm forks in the front and Ohlins TTX36 at the rear. Both units are electronically adjustable and Ducati is using a single-sided aluminium swingarm. Braking duties are performed by a twin 330 mm disc in the front and a 245 mm disc at the rear. Ducati is offering cornering ABS, a 5-inch TFT screen, power modes, riding modes, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control and much more.

The company recently launched Streetfighter V4 and Streetfighter V4 S in the Indian market. The Streetfighter V4 is priced at ₹24.62 lakh whereas the V4 S costs ₹27.80 lakh for the Ducati Red colour whereas the Grey Nero colour is priced at ₹28 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The new motorcycles will be competing against the BMW S 1000 RR and Kawasaki Z H2.
