Just say hello to the BMW i3 Urban Suite Concept which promises to take the luxury, warmth and space of a swanky hotel room and transform and reinvent it to fit seamlessly into a four-wheeled space.
To be showcased at the ongoing CES 2020 at Las Vegas, the BMW i3 Urban Suite Concept's interiors resemble a luxury hotel room more than it feels like an actual car. It gets a generous left back seat with mammoth foot space and a soft-bed footrest where the front passenger seat is typically at. To the left of this single rear seat is a wood-finished table, complete with a artsy small lamp. A click from above and a screen unfolds for entertainment purposes. BMW says there is also a personal 'sound zone' for the passenger although the company does not elaborate on this.
The colour scheme inside the BMW i3 Urban Suite Concept is as soothing as it can get. The seat and footrest gets a bright blue hue while diffused ambient lighting ensure nothing is too glaring to the eyes.
The dash and the only other seat inside the BMW i3 Urban Suite Concept - the driver's seat - is a carry forward from the i3 and the concept continues to maintain its EV profile.

Through the BMW i3 Urban Suite Concept, the company seeks to demonstrate how automotive luxury does not necessarily have to depend upon a large form factor like that of a limousine and how it can be taken to EVs which, more often than not, have compact dimensions.
To prove this, BMW has even deployed the i3 Urban Suite Concept to ferry people at CES 2020. This is the company's way of also showing that a concept version can be taken and made multiple units of. While it is not clear if it will go into production at any future date and time, the BMW i3 Urban Suite Concept models give a real-world insight into what the future of automotive opulence holds.
