The dark side of luxury: Rolls-Royce unveils 2020 Cullinan Black Badge
Rolls-Royce has unveiled the 2020 Cullinan Black Badge on Thursday. A darkened logo with a glossy black coating and dark elements all around the car completes the carmaker's Black Badge trim.
The SUV has now joined Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge line-up that included Wraith, Ghost and Dawn.
The Cullinan Black Badge will be powered by a 6.8-litre V12 engine mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that can produce 600 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. The SUV will sport new 22-inch alloy wheels which will also have the Black Badge elements.

Other elements in the SUV that had chrome finish will also wear the dark look now. Surfaces like the boot handle, boot trim, side frame finishers, front grille surround, lower air inlets, and exhaust pipes are blacked-out matching the step-up in its design.
Not just exteriors, the dark theme of the Cullinan Black Badge has also made its way to the cabin as well. The dash now wears a luxury carbon fibre finish and the three-dimensional carbon fibre on the centre console creates a unique look.
We do not know if this version will be available in India anytime soon. Rolls-Royce has not revealed the price of the 2020 Cullinan Black Badge yet. But it is expected to be more than ₹7 crore, which was the price of the version that was launched in India earlier.
