Last year, Jeep updated the Compass which helped in making a few variants of the SUV more affordable. Now, the brand has released a new teaser which reveals that they will soon be launching the Night Eagle Edition of the SUV in the Indian market soon. This is not the first time that the Night Eagle Edition is going on sale in India. The Compass Night Eagle Edition will only come with a few cosmetic changes over the standard model.
The previous version of the Compass Night Eagle used to come with glossy black exterior accents, a black logo and a black-painted roof. There were also 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black. So, it is expected that for the 2024 model year, Jeep will offer a new set of black-finished alloy wheels.
There are cosmetic changes to the interior as well. It was finished in all-black and we are expecting the same changes to come to the 2024 Compass as well. The dashboard was also finished in black with gloss black for the surrounds of the AC vents.
Powering the 2024 Compass Night Eagle will be the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp of max power at 3,750 rpm and a peak torque output of 350 Nm at 1,750-2,500 rpm. The gearbox on duty is expected to be a 6-speed manual unit and a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The SUV is offered with a 4x2 as well as a 4x4 powertrain.

Other features on offer will be a multi-function steering wheel, keyless entry, push button to start/stop system, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger and much more.
