Tata’s Harrier is a compact SUV that was first launched in the Indian market in early 2019. The 5 seater compact SUV by Tata has been placed between its Nexon and Safari vehicles. The Harrier is Tata’s response to the highly competitive compact SUV market, something dominated heavily by Hyundai Creta, MG Hector and KIA Seltos. A one of its kind, Harrier by Tata is a car worth having a look at.
Exterior:

• Tata's Harrier comes in sporty and strong looks.
• The 5-seater compact SUV comes with high placed dual function LED DRLs, and low placed headlamps provide the car with a different new look.
• Harrier comes in a sharp design from all sides, and the back of the car is provided with LED tail lamps.
• The shark fin antenna at the lower top and diamond-cut alloy wheels provide the car with over the top looks.
• The compact SUV comes with a dimension of 4598×1894×170 mm and a wheelbase of 2741mm.
• Tata' Harries provides five colour options i.e. Green, Red, White, Black and Grey.
• The ground clearance of the car, meanwhile, measures 205mm.
• The Harrier comes in six variants, namely XE, XM/XMA, XT, XT+/XTA, XZ/XZA, XZ+/XZA.

• Entering Tata's Harrier, the first noticeable thing is the electric panoramic sunroof which is provided only in XT+/XTA+ and above models.
• The driver seat of the car is eight-way adjustable while the co-passenger's seat is four-way adjustable.
• The dashboard comes with a wood finished insert running all across it.
• Electric ORVMs, dual-zone climate control and leather upholstery gives the interior of this compact SUV a premium look.
• However, it must be noted that just like the sunroof, various other features mentioned above are not found in lower variants.
• The car comes with a massive boot space of 425 litres providing it with an edge over its competitors.

• Tata's flagship SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotex turbocharged BS6 diesel engine.
• The 1956cc inline four-cylinder engine generates max power of 170 ps at 3750 rpm while the max torque stands at 350 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm.
• The compact SUV comes with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
• Tata claims that the fuel efficiency of its flagship SUV Harrier varies between 14.63 – 16.35 kmpl.

• Tata is known for producing tough cars.
• Harrier also comes with significant safety features from Tata.
• The Tata Harrier comes with two airbags for the first three variants while XZ/XZA and the above variants are provided with six airbags.
• ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control, Rollover Mitigation, and Rear Parking sensor comes in all variants.
• Though higher variants, starting from XT/XTA are provided with a reverse parking camera and many other safety features.
