What has helped Alto not just stay relevant but lead the charts has been Maruti Suzuki's decisions to regularly upgrade the design and technology of and in the car. It also does not cut corners when it comes to safety and has driver-side air bags as standard while is the only car in its segment to offer passenger airbag as an option from base variant onwards.
In its S-CNG version, the car starts at ₹4.32 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi) for the LXi variant and at ₹4.36 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi) for the LXi (O) variant.
