Auto Expo 2020: What to expect from Skoda
- A compact SUV from Skoda will be the main highlight from the company at Auto Expo 2020.
Come February 7, all roads will lead to Auto Expo 2020 where car manufacturers from across the globe will showcase their upcoming automobiles.
Czech automobile manufacturer Skoda will introduce Vision IN and Octavia RS 245 among other vehicles at the expo that would be held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Skoda Vision IN:The Skoda Vision IN compact SUV has a large grille with imposing ribs. It has split head lights that blend into the grille. At the rear, the Vision IN will have three-dimensional lights and the reflectors will be connected by a horizontal light strip.
Skoda Vision IN is the first vehicle to be based on the latest localised sub-compact platform of the MQB A0 IN modular transverse matrix, which also forms the inter-band basis of many Skoda and Volkswagen variants.
Speaking about the interior, the compact SUV of Skoda is expected to have a wide dashboard arranged on several levels. The colour orange is extensively used throughout the interior of the vehicle.
Skoda Vision IN will sport three-spoke multifunction steering wheel that would feature buttons and knurl wheels. The reduced and neatly structured centre console has a small control lever for gear selection.
The production of Skoda Vision IN is expected to commence towards the end of 2020 and once launched, it is expected to compete with other SUVs in India, including Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Ford Ecosport.
Skoda Octavia RS 245:Another vehicle that is expected to grab attention at the Auto Expo 2020 is Skoda Octavia RS 245. The sedan is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol motor that has peak figures of 245 bhp and 370 Nm of torque.
The Octavia RS 245 will sport a seven-speed DSG dual clutch system. The interior has electrically adjustable bolstered seats, ambient lighting and a 9.2-inch infotainment system.
Skoda Octavia RS 245 is expected to have a brand new black front grille and a reworked headlight system with DRLs.
Skoda will also unveil Superb facelift, the Kodiaq TSI and the Karoq SUV at Auto Expo 2020.
