2025 Indian Scout lineup unveiled an all-new engine

Indian Motorcycles have unveiled the 2025 Scout lineup. This includes five new models - Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, Scout Classic, Super Scout, and 101 Scout. They will be offered in three different trims - Standard, Limited and Limited +Tech. For 2025, the company has made some major changes to the motorcycle whilst keeping its iconic design intact. Indian says that they will offer more than 100 accessories for the motorcycles.

Indian Motorcycles says that they have done extensive research to develop the new series of Scout motorcycles. So, the motorcycles feature the lowest seat height in the segment which makes the motorcycle accessible to shorter riders. There is traction control, anti-lock braking system and ride modes as well.

Powering the Indian Scout is a redesigned 1250cc liquid-cooled, V-Twin engine that the company calls ‘SpeedPlus 1250’. It puts out a max power output of 109 bhp and a peak torque output of 109 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. “Having the opportunity to lead the design efforts for the next evolution of Scout is a dream come true," said Ola Stenegärd, Director of Product Design for Indian Motorcycle. “Our top priority was to uphold the iconic namesake of Scout and ensure the new lineup is as timeless as all its predecessors. For us, it was imperative to keep it clean, follow the iconic lines of Scout, and create a package that offered seamless customization. To achieve this, it all started with the steel tube frame and all-new, V-Twin engine."

First, there is the 2025 Indian Scout Bobber, as the name suggests it is a bobber which means a single-seater with chopped-up fenders. Then there is the Indian Sport Scout which can be considered as a sporty version of the bobber.

There is a Sport Classic which as the name suggests is a more Classic version of the motorcycle. Indian is also selling Super Scout which is a cruiser meant for covering long distances. Finally, there is the 101 Scout which is the top-of-the-line version built for performance.
